Fayoum is a very nice place. It has more than a lake and you get westworld vibes of it's dessert. The Valley of the whales is basically the largest graveyard for whales. There is a small museum that is absolutely fascinating if you like to hear about evolution. Staying there is relatively cheap and it's good for chilling and relaxation... More

The oasis of fayoum is supposed to have been created by jesus Christ. But to me it is just a lake on which you can row with a boat. Not really worth the effort getting there

Lake Karoum is beautiful, as are the other lakes, especially the Magic Lake. Byoum resort is a wonderful place to stay for a few nights.

Breathtaking blue oasis in the middle of the desert- what a sight! Three connected lakes on different heights with a small waterfall in the middle is just amazing. Best visited in autumn and spring, very hot in summer. But can't be missed in a Fayoum visit.

if you love nature, go there, quiet place while the waterfall in the middle of the desert, it's really amazing, beautiful lake (originally fresh water) where you can use little boats in a tour, and watching birds, the nature there is very rich to make good photographs.

Very nice place for those who love nature, sandboarding, safari and pottery. Not luxurious... Simply nature. Despite the chaos at the waterfalls...it is still a beautiful site. Don't try to use the bathroom there
