I have never been here any time other than the winter. That being said, if you're looking for an awesome sledding hill or want to experience the toboggan runs, this is the place to go! There's even a cute little Chalet on site where you can buy hot cocoa and snacks when you take a break from the outdoor activities.

Perfect place to get a run in or to walk the dog. Horses are welcome! There are also mountain bike obstacles and trails.

I've just gotten into mountain biking recently and this has been a great place for me to get started. There are some items I won't tackle yet. Midland is a very flat area and they do the best they can to create some elevation changes on these trails.

This is a great place for peaceful running with friends. Lots of well marked trails and wild life. Watch for horse dung on the wider paths but not on the single track bike trails. The city chalet is a wonderful place for an informal gathering

I've been coming here since being quite young. Whether it was to sled down the hills, go on the toboggan run, maybe ice skate a little... or even go to the haunted forest. One of the best ways to warm up during the cold months is to go into the cabin and drink a nice, hot cup of apple cider,... More

My dad goes to City Forest all the time. There are a few great bike trails — in addition to even more, less-curvy, walking trails.

I've been here several times. Mostly to walk with our dogs but I also did a trail ride a month ago. It's nice and relaxed.

A wonderful place to hike by yourself or with a friend or a dog and really find some solitude. It would take all day to hike all the trails. There are the wider and easier hiking and cross-country trails and then there are the winding up-and-down biking trails. When you take the biking trails, be sure to go in the... More

This is an awesome place for a walk in the woods. There are wide paths and smaller windy paths, so you can take your pick. I prefer the winding paths that are only big enough to walk on single file. Our dog LOVES to walk for hours off leash here. Many dogs walk here off leash so it isn't the... More

Biking, hiking, strolling or running, the terrain varies. Winter offers cross country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding. There is also a chalet for rent for different occasions, i.e. birthday parties, showers...
