Lakenenland is a free sculpture park just off M28 about 7 miles from the intersection of M28 and US41. It is loaded with quality hand made large and colorful metal sculptures made by Tom Lakenen. These are on a trail that can be walked or driven on. There is also a very nice large picnic area with a music stage.... More

This place was created by a local welder/fabricator/artist. It welcomes everyone, and you pay based on your own sense of the value it provides. Family friendly - hot chocolate during the cold times. GREAT stop for snowmobilers!

Great break for tours groups! Get out and walk through the sculpture park on a very good trail/road. Note this road is not suitable for Motorcoaches. The artist and owner Tom has done a wonderful job of making junk into creative pieces of art...that's an understatement! You will find that Tom has a big heart for people and has gone... More

Mr Lakenen has built an outdoor treasure. Amusing and thoughtful sculptures scattered over walkable or driveable terrain . The artwork is accessible on many levels. And it's free! But worthy of a substantial donation.

So, we see the sign as we are driving to see the fall colors. We decided to pass on it thinking that it was a tourist crap trap. The next day we drove past and decided to turn around and take a peek. So GLAD we did. The owner of the property apparently opens it up to share his love... More

This privately owned Sculpture Park is a must see when in the area. Tom Lakanen has many different sculptures, some are funny, some make you think......You can walk the area, or drive through in t he car. There are bathrooms to use, and there is also a meeting place. If you are lucky musicians are practicing or some meet and... More

Everything that you will see here is done by the love of one man. I was blown away by the creationism of one person. This place is truly a gem, in the fact that it is not here to make money, but here for the enjoyment of strangers who love and connect with what this man does.
