Had a great time at the beach with our Dachshunds. They loved playing in the sand and the water. Unfortunately some people didn't clean up after their dogs. But for the most part it was clean and a good place to bring Fido.

This beach was small, yet comfortable. It was not busy the days we were there (Friday and Saturday), had a great view of the lighthouse. It had concessions and clean bathrooms. It also had playground equipment close for children.

Plenty of room for people to stretch out with family. It could have used a good clean-up with some trash (not over whelming) strewn about. There is a newer beach house with food and bathrooms. There is also a playground with swings and slides (old...More

My best friend drowned here Aug 23, 1978 and many others followed her throughout the years. The undertow is treacherous and there are drop offs. Pretty area but I will never go back in the water here.
