The museum is upstairs of a great restaurant and is free to anyone without any supervision- just come and go as you please. Lots of interesting information and artifacts from the bridge construction.

We walked to the Shepler's Ferry Service from Deer Head Inn. The ferry to us out to the Mackinac Bridge so when could view the bridge up close. The ferry took us to Mackinac Island. The ride only took about 15 minutes

It's good, it's free, I just wish it had a little more organization. But again, it is good and it is free!

This is a very interesting museum with lots of stories about when the bridge was built and the stories of the men who worked on it. They have a few videos to see also. By the way, it is free. Some people in town don't even know where it is, but it is upstairs over a Pizza Restaurant on the... More

This little free museum is a great place for kids and adults. It has a great short movie showing the building of the bridge. I say take a break from shopping and go upstairs and see some history and engineering.

The first time ever visiting the museum and it was well worth the trip. Such an amazing accomplishment without computers and calculators. A project that came in under budget and on time...hard to say that these days.

This is an informative museum about the construction of the Mackinac Bridge located upstairs in Mama Mia's Pizza. And it's free! The restaurant had a fire some years back which was unfortunate because they lost some artifacts from the museum. But fortunately they did rebuild and they have some artifacts related to the bridge. I especially like the vintage film... More

If you have the time to eat at Mama Mia's then you have to go upstairs. They have a very informative little museum above the restaurant. While you are waiting for your meal, you can visit upstairs and learn about the building of the Mighty Mac. The bridge is an engineering feat that is quite remarkable. This bridge is a... More

Loved learning about the Bridge. Being from MI I loved seeing and hearing all the history about how the bridge came to be. The video shown was great telling how it all happened. I will go back and take my kids!
