There is plenty to see and do in Fishtown but my favorite is the fish house where they smoke local caught Whitefish and make sausage and pate that is to die for. Disappointed that there were no chubs to buy.

Same old story: higher prices and lower quality. Tourist trap. The shops sell junk. Kids run the shops and couldn't care less about their jobs.

Several gift stores and Resturants on or near the water. Parking can be a challenge, but you can park along the street. A good place to spend a couple of hours

Cute n interesting but easily able to see the town and exited within an hour. Helpful that the town of Leland has good shopping. Wouldn't drive out of my way to go see Fishtown again.

How quaint and a great place to walk around! Cute little shops and restaurants. Don't pass it up. Fishtown is a must see stop while in Leland.

There are several giftshops, you can park many different places there is a spot that is close to the marina which you can look over and see sleeping bear dunes. There are places that you can eat too.

Fishtown will be open & with the wonderful Michigan Fall colors, it will be a stunning area to visit. Make sure you drive through (and stop) in Glen Haven, on your way around the Leelenau peninsula. Loop back through... More
