So many opportunites for little ones to get close to the animals. A lot of the animals were in their shelters but I understood because it was so hot. The black rhinos were not on display when we were here do to a hopeful mating...More

A lot of endangered animals and information/education on them. Very nice visit, had a lot of fun. The bird house walk was the best!

Well maintained grounds and environment but boring for teenagers and the rain didn’t help things - blaming Mother Nature not he zoo of course for that. The river otters were the best and the roaming peacocks were fun. Nice pavilions for family gatherings. $65 for...More

We stopped in because I love going to zoos! I found this zoo was well laid out and had great signage of where things were located. I haven't been to a zoo in a long time that looked so old and worn out. Zoo cages...More

The state capital can do better than this! This city zoo is tired and needs love. The price for admission and parking is not worth the experience. Animals are housed in ridiculously small, dated enclosures. Lansing - look at Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek....More

the park is just the right size for the little ones. The animals aren't too spread out and the little ones don't lose interest and can walk without getting tired.

What a great experience every time! The zoo is well maintained and has a wonderful variety of animals. Every family I meet when I’m there raves about how happy they are to have this zoo so close. The otter is so cute! Seeing the eagles...More

A wonderful zoo to spend 1\2 day at. The penquins are the best and there are benches to relax and watch their antics. Price could be hefty for a family but they may have a family discount?
