This theater transported me back in time to a great place in history. The decor was amazing. We sat in the balcony and had a great view. It doesn't seem there would be a bad seat in the house. It's cool that there is a...More

Although we loved the actual event, I would never go to another event at this theater which is not ADA accessible. If there is more than 9 inches from your knee to your thigh, you will not be comfortable in any balcony seat in this...More

As an appreciator of architecture, the style of theaters always excites me -- and this state has no shortage of terrific examples from Muskegon to Detroit. But the Kalamazoo State Theatre definitely is worth a visit. I was fortunate enough to see Dave Chappelle perform...More

Took in Keb'Mo at the KST. Perfect venue for singer songwriter. The theatre presents with culture, adequate beverages and not really a bad seat in the house. I had mezzanine seats and loved em. A must on your list

Went to the State Theatre. Loved the vintage look of the place and everything went well. I would definitely go again if an act caught my attention.

We were just there for the first time for the Jesse Cook concert. Wow, incredible archetecture! The only complaint is that the chairs are not very comfortable. Otherwise, was a nice experience.

This restored historic theater is one of my favorite live music venues. Comfortable, intimate size, with excellent sound. At a recent concert, Grace Potter called it "The most psychadelic theater in the country" with funky decor and a star-filled ceiling. Nice drinks menu at reasonable...More
