I love taking visitors to our Kalamazoo Valley Museum when they are in town. It's free, the planetarium is inexpensive and it is always updating it's displays. It's incredibly educational, interesting for all ages and a beautifully kept space.

The KVM is a nice family museum. There’s plenty of things for the kids to do. It’s certainly not an entire day but you can easily spend a couple of hours. There’s nice restaurants in the area for afterwards.

A visitor and locals favorite spot! Kalamazoo's equivalent of other cities' "Please Touch Museums". Don't miss this one! And it's FREE!

We have been to many similar family museums over the years, and I was very impressed with KVM. For a free museum, the exhibits and experiences at KVM were on par or exceeded what we have become accustomed to at full price museums. KVM has...More

It's right across from the Radisson. You might prefer the Kalamazoo House, which would just be a short walk..
