Always stop when we're in the area

I've visited here every time I'm in the area, and have even made a special trip to attend Mass. Makes me feel like a better person every time I come.

The good Priest was a close friend of my father and mother who travelled to Indian River to attend Christmas Mass the 1st year Fr. Brophy was there. My mother tells me a total of... More

Absolutely worth the visit..whether your Catholic or not an over whelming heart healing spiritual stop. You might think ha ! But it's very powerful place. Use to have stairs that went from the state park up here by those have been removed many years ago... Beautiful place ...

We recently spent a long weekend in Indian River. Having spent 3 weeks every summer at my grandfather's summer home for most of my childhood and teenage years, we went to mass on Sunday's at the outdoor or indoor facility of this church. It boasts the largest crucifix in the world. It is an awesome facility and scenic place to... More

This is a very nice and inspirational place to visit. Very scenic and reflective especially in the summer. Also very nice is the gift shop. I have bought items for gifts and for our home.

Whatever your religious beliefs are, the crucifix is extremely impressive (28' from head to toe!), and the grounds are beautiful. Also, there is the nun doll museum, which is what drew me to begin with. It's a collection of 525 dolls representing various religious orders. It is wonderfully bizarre.

Drove up with friends on a color tour and needed a destination and chose the Cross in the Woods. The whole experience of the cross and the grounds were pretty awesome. You can get right up to the cross to experience it and see the outstand work on the body of Jesus. A must see when traveling the top of... More

A very unique setting. It was very emotional when I first saw the cross. I cannot do it justice by trying to describe. If you are passing through it is worth the short mile and a half drive off the highway to see.
