A fun climb up 240 steps to the top of a enormous sand dune. Rest stops along the way, wonderful views and cool breezes once you get to the top! Kids love it, but doable...just did it...with an 82 year old!

When you get to the top of the steps(200+) there is a beautiful view of Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa. It is a hike. Limited free parking, or you can walk from the Holland State park.

We trudged through the snow and up several hundred steps to a view that is well worth it. You can see both lakes and the lighthouse, plus the rolling hills. It is so beautiful!

After the vigorous hike up all those stairs, we were rewarded with views of both lakes and a distant view of Big Red.

Yes there are a LOT of stairs. BUT the view from the top of the climb is spectacular. It is worth every step of the way.

There are only two small parking lots for this park and both require a walk (more distance lot is a decent walk back) to get to Mount Pisgah trail head. On our first pass there were NO empty parking spots at either lot. We got...More

This is a fun, fairly easy hike. We went up the 225 steps and down the back and around into the campground. Our 6&9 year olds could do it and enjoyed it.

Worth the hike up to see the views from the top! It has some nice lookout points along the way if you need a break.
