For families you can't get much better than this park, beach, playground, BBQ locations... it has it all. You have to pay to park (or park across the street, its a bit of a walk but its free)

I used to go to Tunnel Park when I was kid with my family all the time. I love walking through the tunnel to get to the beach. There is a pretty challenging dune that you can climb... they have stairs now. There is a picnic area near the parking lots and some swings and playground. Lake Michigan is wonderful... More

We did not use the beach at this park (we went simply for the view), so I cannot comment on the beach. To get the best views, you need to either take the steps, or climb the sand dune. The sand dune looked pretty hard to climb, so I took the steps. The view at the top is simply amazing.... More

Best park in Holland to spend time, planning a grill, volleyball or hanging out with kids. Have been there more than 30 times in the last 2 years.

This is a quaint little park that few know about. There is a tunnel going under the dune to get you to the lake. You can also walk over the dune if you want.

I had never seen the lake before and walking thru the tunnel and then opening up to the view is a very memorable way to see the lake for the first time! :-) Bring bug spray for the biting flies !!!!

We visited this beach the Thursday before Labor Day weekend and there was ample parking. Getting from the parking lot to the beach was easy and the beach itself was very pretty and a great for families. In the park there is also nice playground and well kept bathrooms. Bring a picnic as there are no vendors!

We were in town with our local and out of state family and friends. We love Holland State Park but it is too hard to get into for a holiday weekend. Even tho Tunnel has a walk down and climb back it is also a great park at the beach. But despite the climb, my 74 year old father with... More

We decided to try Tunnel Park for our annual family reunion and it worked out great. The playground equipment, sand dune run for kids, beach and plenty of room for corn hole and kube provided everything we needed. We reserved a covered pavilion in advance and it was roped off with our name on it when we arrived and the... More
