A visit to Nelis' Dutch Village is like a step back into the Netherlands of over 100 years ago on a day when a festival came to town. Demonstrations and performances; tastes, sight and sounds; and something to interest all ages. Unique shopping too.

What a lovely little Dutch town. Being Dutch myself and living in Chicago, I well enjoyed seeing all these old fashioned Dutch things like the 'Klompendans', the Ferris wheel and many other typical Dutch habits. A good way of teaching your kids about the Netherlands...More

My wife and I took our 7-year old and 3-year old, and both of them had a great time. It's a mostly outdoor, Dutch-themed, children's amusement park, plus some restaurants and shops that don't require any admission fee. The admission fee for our family of...More

Fun place to go to even with children. Though somethings are not 100% Dutch it's good. Nice demonstrations and a restaurant/bar with Dutch beer and food like kroketten and frikandellen

The displays were perfect, and the park is kept immaculately clean. It was not crowded so the extra-friendly staff had plenty of time to interact with the visitors. If you are interested in the Dutch heritage this is 4 hours well spent (more if you...More
