While we love the Detroit and Saginaw zoos, John Ball Zoo is our favorite. You can get very close to most of the animals. Their enclosures are large and seem less restrictive than some others we have visited. Much of the zoo is shaded. Great...More

First of all, you do not get a map when you enter. They do not offer a map but they are available if you know to ask. There are few maps posted throughout the zoo but they are so far apart you cannot keep track...More

Fun for kids and adults. Go on a cool day and the animals will be more active. Bring your own snacks and drinks because food and drinks are expensive

Loved all the different areas and places to go from petting stingrays to riding ziplines. I highly recommend making this a full day family outing.

We made one last stop at the zoo before heading out of town. We arrived a few minutes before that park opened. It was a Monday morning, 40's, and not crowded at all. We entered and headed for the aquarium. My son loved watching the...More

Is the food moderately priced? Has anyone bought a 16" pizza there? trying to decide if a picnic is a better option.
