Blandford is a great place to visit if you like nature. The trails wind around and through the forest and meadow. If you like owls, you will get a chance to see the resident owls and learn their stories. The Sugarbush Festival is a great time for families to enjoy the art of maple syrup making. Syrup is even available... More

Blandford Nature Center is a great place for adults and kids to be in a natural setting. A pleasant walk or a little hike helps renew the spirit. Check in with the visitor center to see what else is happening.

my husband and i took a day trip to Grand Rapids to check out the Nature Center. Unusually warm weather made for a great day to explore the trails. Because it was winter, the wildlife sightings were few. The trails were well maintained and provided us a very calming experience. Can't wait to come back with our kids.

We went to an event here for breakfast and birding. The introduction slide show was very entertaining and has changed the ways we view birds in our own backyard. We saw birds we haven't ever seen before and really enjoyed the visit.

There is a small building with a few live animals, the big attraction is the wooded trails with a few benches to allow sitting. Calming, relaxing. At appropriate fall time there is maple syrup making (I have not gone). Occasionally there are small festivals there, can be crowded then but lots of space to walk. Trails not suitable for baby... This place is super cool. I just wandered around the trails for a couple hours, didn't need to do much else. Great place to get away from the sounds of the city. Definitely check it out.

Brought my 2 kids, 8 and 3 for a fun afternoon. Both of them had a blast! The frog pond was the favorite spot for both girl's. I really enjoyed the old building and especially the Native American hut. You could go inside which was really neat. Beautiful, well maintained trails made for a great trip. We'll be back soon!

With a well thought out bit of trails and some local history, it's a serene place to visit and see some local wildlife. There are birds local to the area, some vintage buildings with history and walkways through the woods.
