Nice to review President's Ford's life, accomplishments, governance as well as challenges facing the nation during those years. Good and clear summary of the Amendments to the Constitution. A man of integrity and team player.

This museum was very interesting, and well done. Even if you remember this president and his term in office, there are new things to be learned.

What a great presidential library....visits may become habit forming. When I travel, I often look for things to do and I've found that history lessons offer some of the most memorable events. The library is easy to navigate and offers a glimpse into one of...More

A pleasant day spent learning more about our 38th president. Very clean and the worker at the ticket booth was very friendly.

The overall layout of the museum is great covering his entire life. The interesting parts were his navy experience and his political time. The area about his death was somber if the young kids weren't running around. Very very well done!

This museum does a nice job of reviewing the career of Gerald Ford. They explain the difficulties he faced in his short presidency following the Nixon debacle. I wouldn't travel far out of my way to go here. But if you're looking something to spend...More

The museum is well done with several movies of what occurred when Nixon resigned and Gerald Ford became president. There was an actual size reproduction of his cabinet room. Visit his gravesite just outside the museum.

If you can visit any of the Presidential Museums make sure to do it. It's like watching the history channel, but first hand.

This was my first and has been my only visit to a Presidential Museum. Great location in downtown Grand Rapids. This museum was of interest for me since I was a young adult when G.Ford was our President. Great displays. And don't overlook that President...More

You could take the GRATA bus to the main station which is about 2 miles southeast of the Ford Museum. From there you could check out Amtrack or Greyhound since the Henry Ford Museum is about 180 miles away in the Detroit... More

I do not know but suggest you contact the museum. There is a parking lot directly in front of the museum but I do not know if it will accommodate your motor home.

How much time should we allot for our visit to the museum? My husband is really interested in these presidential museums/libraries so he'll want to suck it all in. On the other hand, we have a long trip ahead of us after we leave Grand Rapids so I just need to know so I can adequately plan. Thank you.

It was fascinating to my wife and I. We were there from opening, broke for lunch at a hotel across the street and came back and finished around 4:00. If you want to take it all in, I'd allow a full day.
