Gentle hills and beautiful scenery. Take a minute to stop and see the boat Museum and Lake Michigan along the trail. Restrooms are available every few miles

Great mostly paved trail. It can be broken into smaller sections for those with little ones needing breaks. Lots of the parks points of interest are along the trail.

Yes- the trail goes directly by the large Dunes and also by at least one other opening to the beach

You can't drive on these dunes at the National Park, but if you head south, down to Silver Lake Sand Dunes, you can. If you google Silver Lakes Sand Dunes, you'll find several places that rent vehicles. Or you can take a... More
