Fun little area near everything

Little quaint shops in a little quaint area in a little quaint town. What could go wrong? Nice area to spend an hour or so while in Chickentown.

Unbelievable to me that smoking is allowed in this outdoor park-like setting! It's really hard to walk around and enjoy the area when your forced to breathe cigarette and even cigar smoke the whole time. 😷Saw multiple people smoking and complained to one of the cashiers and she said "I know..."

We visited on an off-season Monday morning. It wasnt too crowded, but there were other people there. The shopping area is well maintained and clean. The foliage had not been planted yet, so the pots and gardens were bare still, but the place still looked pretty. The man-made stream in the back was pretty. They put something in the water... More

Cute area that is well kept. Ate at the crepe shop and it was good. It was nice to walk around and let the kids run around

While at the Bavarian Inn, we decided to walk through Riverwalk. There are several shops here. We especially liked Emilie B's. The clerk was very nice and helpful.

We love this place. Here are some neat little shops that have something for every age group. Prices are very reasonable for a touristy town. Our teenagers love the crepe store and would stay there all day. Delicious fudge shop, cool little store full of garden accessories, jerky...tons of things all in a quaint little setting.

The River Place Shops area is a walkable outdoor facing shopping area. Shoppers walk outside along winding paths from one shop to the next. There is a nice variety of stores including an Irish store and a distillery sales place.

The River Place Shops are always a good place to walk around, with several decent places to stop in and browse. There also happens to be a couple of places to do some wine tasting - Cherry Republic, and Grand Traverse WineryDistillery. All in all, not bad to spend some time browsing.......

There is lots to see and do in the area. The shops are set near a picturesque setting overlooking a river.
