We were treated to a tour of the new glass art collection as well as a tour of the renaissance art as we are studying the renaissance in class. We were also treated to a small art project that the students enjoyed.

Enjoyed learning about the different African Art and Mask were good to look at. I plan on going to the Martin Luther King day celebration. This is a great place for children to learn.

We enjoyed the new glass exibit. Amazing how creative the artist can be with glass. Even our 9 and 11 year old Grand kids enjoyed it. All the grand kids work as docents at the Grand Rapids Art Prize each year.

That is so great! We love seeing families enjoying the collection together. Children's exposure to art speaks volumes and follows them thgorughout their lives. We hope you'll return to the Flint Institute of Arts soon! Remember, Saturdays are free thanks to Huntington Bank.
