We spent a week at this park with our 28' camper we had electricity & water onsite. The park is located on the river with some sites overlooking it. Shower house is well kept and clean. Surprisingly not a lot of noise from highway traffic. This has a lot of local campers and the staff in office were friendly and... More

The park manager claims disc golfers were damaging foliage and forest floor, but he used heavy equipment to yank out the goal baskets doing more damage to the forest than any golfer did. He forgets that this park is owned by the people who pay taxes and not his personal property. Losing this disc golf course had a huge negative... More

This used to be a run down campsite. Six years ago we would pull our camper in for the weekend and maybe see 5 or 6 other campers in a park that can hold 40+. Not much was in good working order. Since then Delta County has pumped some money into fixing the place up and it looks nice. But.........the... More

I grew up hanging out in Pioneer Trail Park in the 1970's and 1980's. I recently visited the park for the first time in several decades. It has been seriously renovated and upgraded while preserving the rustic setting. The old picnic shelter has been replaced with a nice new modern one, as has the playground equipment. The park has numerous... More

Great campgrounds. I remember as a kid this being a picnic park with just a couple of campsites up near the highway, but now it's 100% campground. Spent 5 nights in our 30' motorhome as we visited friends and relatives in the area. Spacious sites, great hookups (just missing a sewer hookup), very friendly people, amazing rest rooms & showers.... More

Actually a really nice park and campground. Restroom-shower house was awesome and clean. Sites were of good size and mostly level. But the two things that will keep me from ever returning. 1- there is a hidden (in the woods) train track. This thing runs through and blasts it's horn every 45 min. Day and night!! 2-Michigan's state bird (mosquito).... More

A very nice campground for the family. They have a nice pavilion and playground area for the kids (newly updated). They have power, water and cable hookup. I did not use the showers but the bathrooms by the playground was clean and private.

Arrived the week following Labor Day to do a few days of tent camping with no electric or water hook-ups needed. We were shunted off to the "rustic" loop which we had completely to ourselves! it was mostly a mowed area with scattered trees, but had very nice views of the river. With our two dogs, we couldn't have asked... More
