Great trail! Steep climbs. Great hike. The view is awesome when you reach the top. No place to really sit and enjoy the view, though...Will do this one again.

You walk a up hill trail (not bad, just take your time) through a beautiful forest, and when you get to the top you're in for a treat. It's a beautiful view of Lake Michigan and well worth the walk up to the top. If you're up for a challenge walk down to the bottom!

Go to visitor's center and pay admission. Receipt must be displayed on driver's dashboard. Mostly uphill climb amongst beautiful white birch trees. The trail ends abruptly high above Lake Michigan...would not recommend taking small children. The view is beautiful but I prefer the views from Empire Bluff Trail. The white birches were my favorite part of this trail.

This is a nice vigorous (not challenging, but will take some stamina and effort up and down) hike with a great payout at the top. You can walk back down or veer off two trails which extend the hike to nearly 4 miles. There are some steep spots, so be prepared to work up a sweat. Enjoy the views. This... More

This is not a difficult trail, but it leads to a most beautiful overlook of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands. The walk is through the woods and then continues through a meadow.

Our local friends from Traverse City told us to go here. Are we ever happy that we did. I have been visiting this area my whole life. We frequently visit Pierce Stocking Drive (south of here) and it is often SO crowded. This is a more natural site. You have to hike up a trail to get there, not too... More

This park gives you sweeping views of the lake on three sides. You can just see so much of the area from up here. The trails through the woods are great and the trees provide nice shelter from the sun. I'm glad my friends brought me here.

It was a nice little hike to this lookout and well worth it. The view was spectacular and highly recommended. Be careful if you have little ones, it is quite a drop down to the lake.

the hike wasn't bad at all, very well maintained path, however I do not suggest you wear flip flops. mostly up hill but very worth the walk for the gorgeous views. once you get to the top there are places for you to explore and rest, very peaceful and beautiful
