The city of Dexter has done a great job of restoring its old downtown area. There is a nice park area on Mill Creek, and some neat stores nearby--including restaurants and coffee shops..

Enjoy well groomed nature trails, well preserved wooden board walks, the amazing Huron River, and lovely wilderness hiking. Come one, come all. Wheelchairs move easily on the board walks.

Dexter-Huron is one of the smaller metroparks, but is a very pretty spot along the Huron River for picnics, fishing, canoe rides, walks/hikes, etc.
