The DIA is an amazing art collection. It’s worth the trip for the Diego Rivera murals alone, but there is so much more from Impressionists to Medieval art to sculpture. The Kresge Coutyard is beautiful and a great place for lunch. Highly recommended!

The DIA stays open late every Friday night and features a live local artist band, string quartet or other classical modes. Exhibits are easy to look at, and the interpretive writing explains the piece and it's place in the evolution of art. Food court on...More

This is a "must see" for anyone. The art here is world class. Anyone with children should definitely expose them to art.

Most lists of great museums miss the DIA and that's a shame. From the early medieval chapel contained on the third floor, to the many great and well-known works owned by the museum (when they're not on tour). Home to Diego Rivera's murals, Edsel Ford's...More

Hard to beat the Louvre, Hermitage, Metropolitan Museum of NY, etc. But a close second, and sometimes better in atmosphere and specific experiences.
