Charles was an excellent tour guide--very personable. His love for the city really showed in his tour and was contagious. He took us to some beautiful, historic buildings and landmarks and I feel we got more than our money's worth.

Even if there were not tour at this time of the year, Bob Goldsmidt, the tour guide met my husband and me at noon and took us around downtown Detroit for over two hours, it was a private tour at the price of a group one. We ended up having a beer at a local pub. I recommend this company... More

As newcomers to Detroit, in town for the weekend, we took this tour of downtown to get an overall introduction to the history, culture and architecture of Detroit. It was an outstanding tour, thanks to our guide Bob, a resident of downtown, who provided a personal and informative tour that brought the city to life. Highly recommended!

Bob was an amazing host. I had never visited Detroit before, but the downtown core is absolutely stunning. All the buildings are relatively close together. And we were so lucky to have such a warm day to walk around. There are so many secret nooks and crannies. We got to experience all aspects of Detroit. The abandoned buildings were so... More

We went on Rise, Decline, and Renewal tour in Sept. with Bob and loved it. It gave my sister and I a great overview of the city, it's rich history and incredible architecture. Bob is incredibly knowledgeable regarding Detroit and he really makes the tour special. My one recommendation would be to take the tour early on in your visit... More

Me and my family only had one day in Detroit downtown. That's why we decided to take a tour. It was really the best thing we could have done! Bob showed so many places we wouldn't have seen without him. We went into different buildings to see the great interior and he told all facts about renovations, costs and stuff.... More

I loved this tour of downtown Detroit. The guide, Bob, was very well informed about Detroit's p, p, and f. He also gives hope for the future of Detroit. Well worth the money, and the beer at the end of the tour was a bonus!

Thank Charles G
