Young couple and first time visitors to Detroit. This museum was both informative and interesting. There is so much about Detroits history we didn't know before we came. It is a free museum but deserves a grand donation.

Start on the lower ground floor to walk the streets and visit the shops and the model railway. Continue upstairs to experience the history of the city from the early days almost to the present. Lots to see and read. Definitely recommended.

Our company visited as a group and toured the museum. The guide was knowledgeable and kept a nice pace. Learned a lot, throughly enjoyed the museum and will return with family.
