It is so much fun to ride the railways. The train ride takes about 1.5 hrs to go from Coopersville to Marne and back. They offer a number of rides throughout the summer including the bunny train in the spring, the troop train on memorial...More

This is a fun way to experience train travel in the 20s or 30s. It's a relatively short ride (maybe 5 miles each direction). The all volunteer crew were friendly, helpful and courteous. One comment: this Saturday departure was advertised as an EnterTRAINment Excursion that...More

The scenery was interesting. Needs more input from staff. Family was somewhat disappointed. I think they do have some special rides. I think our ride was in July of 2013.

They do it well making the trip enjoyable for the little ones. The train itself is old and in need of further restoration but being a totally volunteer organization I am sure funds are tight. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This trip is...More
