Lots of rocks. Searched for some petoskey and charlevoix stones. Not too sure I found any but still had a nice time walking along the shore and seeing crawfish that came in with the waves

While friends at home are suffering in 100+ degree weather, we enjoyed a morning camp fire with coffee. Sixty degrees in a shady site, really hard to beat. Would give a higher rating were the outhouses kept clean.

We were looking for a place to have a picnic and hike. We were able to do both. The water was high and we didn't have swimsuits so we were unable to visit the end of the park that is Fishermans Island. Most days Fishermans...More

Fishermans Park in Charlevoix is one of the best spots to park and walk down a small path to the beach and look for shells, cool rocks and watch the awesome sunsets.

Picturesque and quiet beach. Easy to stroll, rock hunt and was quiet even on the 4th of July. Whole family enjoyed it.

We wanted a nice easy hike and it fulfilled the need. Well maintained park. The cement factory next door was a little off putting when we pulled in but you could not see it from the park. Beautiful views.

We spent about 4 hours on the beach as a family of 5 in early June. It was 92 degrees and full sun, but the water was cold. That didn't deter the kids. They were in the water up to their arm pits (except when...More

I don't think there is one at the park. There is one at the Emmet county fairgrounds, then another just north of Charlevoix (according to google) at Uhricks, then another at Charlevoix Campground a little east of the park... More
