We went when it was still warm in late October. Place was dead and we loved it. Nice sandy beach. The lots to the East tend to be bigger and nicer. Enjoy!

We booked a mini cabin in this park because it happened to be available and in the general area we were visiting. What a stroke of luck for us! The park is spacious, well maintained and nicely laid out. The modern bathrooms had hot showers...More

After reading all the reviews about skunks at the park we were a little hesitant about staying here but didn't see any the 3 days we stayed here. We had a lot that backed up to the woods with a short path to Lake Superior...More

Camped here in July 2017. The campground was fairly noisy and crowded and the bathrooms were not nice. Not one of Michigan's finest state parks.

We are here for two nights and barely got a site. Very busy, very active and family oriented. Mostly locals, including nearby Canadians. We would come here again.

This is our second time staying at this park. It has been super clean each time. The beach area is nice. The camp hosts never really leave their site to talk to any of the campers, but they have coffee each morning which is amazing....More

We stayed at the mini cabin that I had booked a year earlier. We choose this site because of its proximity to local attractions that were within a two hour drive. (White fish point, Mackinac island, Soo Locks, Seney Wildlife Refuge, Tahquamenon Falls) The plus...More

We made our reservations for a 6 day camping trip through the state reservation center and did it turn out wrong and we even talked to a live person. We have been there several times in the fall and always loved the park. When we...More

We arrived at 8:30 in the evening--so it was late in the day and had the guide assign us a spot. We were shocked to see such a large park--they had a large flat grassy area with over 200 spots. It was off season so...More

This is a nice campground with reasonably spaced sites. There is electric hookups and a dump station and place to put water in your trailer. Very quiet. Lake Superior is right there with a nice long beach for walking. There are 238 sites, but when...More

I was just there in August and had site 232 with a 26’ travel trailer and was a 8 second walk to the beach. The sites at the end at the corner are bigger and a lot easier to back in your camper.

The restrooms are clean and well maintained. The park is small but we love it. Take binoculars to watch the big barges as this is at entrance to the St Marys river and takes them to the locks in Sault St Marie.

There is one small cabin right in the campground. It's a one room cabin with minimal furnishings.
