This is an excellent walk alone or with a group. Many different trails to choose from. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy sitting on the river as you watch the boaters going by. Plenty of parking.

We boated in the grass river and enjoyed the calm waters and natural setting along the banks. Easy to share with kayaks, canoes, and pontoons. Not appropriate for speed boats as it is a no wake zone.

The park has nicely marked trails and a boardwalks. There is a trail along a portion of the river, but there was too much boat traffic for us to see much wildlife. There are lots of trails for hiking or biking. If you decide to...More

Trails are marked well. You can sit out on the dock at Clam Lake and enjoy a sunset. There were no other people there when I was there. A hidden gem.

My favorite thing is to take a canoe out on the river on a hot summer day. But the trail system is also amazing - this is a really special place tucked into the south end of Lake Bellaire.

We spent the past two afternoons enjoying the trails. Yesterday snowshoeing and today cross country skiing. Nice trails designated for each activity. Very quiet, we did not see anyone else on the trails either day.
