This recreation area was popular for locals. There's long beach along the shore of the Saginaw Bay with 7-mile trails and wetland. They have everything for families: playground, water park, picnic area, and stage for concert.

I bike through all the time. Take the grandkids to the splash park and the come play the bay area. They love it. The beach is now clean and nice to walk on. Great day trip .

I was there after hours, they had a bathroom building and another building that was closed. I didn't see anyplace that was big enough to hold Kayak rentals.
