We'd expected to stop here and see very passive museum type displays of Kellogg's life and work. Instead, we had an interesting guide who walked us through and encouraged us to try some of the equipment developed by Kellogg and used to stimulate better health. The site is definitely worth a stop for an hour or more. When the weather... More

We weren't going to stop but changed our minds last minute and we are SO glad we did! Our guide (can't remember his name) was so Informative and helpful. We came on a Sunday and pretty much had the place to ourselves. Very very much enjoyed it and learned so much!!!

Took my youth ministry volunteer team visit the Adventist Village to be acquainted with their church's history and visit the home of one of the pioneers of the church. Wow! It was great to see the many early inventions of Dr. Kellogg, a pioneer in healthy lifestyle and key figure in inventing breakfast cereal.

Started with a good video about the discovery of corn flakes. Also a nice tour guide gave insight into the inventions of Dr. John Kellogg. We had less than an hour to get this in our schedule. There is more to see, but this worked for us.

The discovery center is really very nice for the learning of history in Battle Creek. It is a walking tour of the buildings and some homes of the early settlers that influenced our communities history. Its a simple lifestyle of the 7th day adventist church.

Interesting place to see Kelloggs inventions for better health. Supported and sponsored be Adventist church but not push for them. Well worth the expense, donations only, and well worth the time. We were looking for some time away from casino and thought it sounded ok and it was.

John Harvey Kellogg had some interesting (and often incorrect) beliefs regarding human health and behavior. The 7th Day Adventist church obviously didn't set this up to provide an objective view of the man, but it's worth a visit if you are in the area. Many of his electric fitness contraptions look like something out of an S&M dungeon, but if... More

Small museum with 9 outbuildings. Short video history of Kellogg's sanitarium with interesting, hands-on inventions by Dr. John Kellogg. Arrived late and did not get to see outbuildings. Will return soon. Staff was great to tour with.

I am NOT at ALL a history buff but I thought this discovery center was cool. If you are at all interested in health, nutrition or fitness you HAVE to see this. It won't take much time but I think you'll be surprised by what you see. There is a short video presentation and then enjoy an interactive museum is... More
