Visited today with friends and a 2 year old. There are lots of interesting items in the collection, with our favorite being the dinosaur bones downstairs. We also enjoyed a planetarium show on the sun. It only cost $20 for 4 adults and that was good for up to 6 people total.

I have been here with school groups and the kids love going. They have a Planetarium and good exhibits. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. This is also part of the Leila Arboretum! Both are a great family friendly outing. Pricing is reasonable and worth a few hours of time. They also have a Children's Garden that is fantastic... More

This is a little treasure in our town. They have different exhibit specials throughout the year and really try to engage children in different ways through their programming. Very appropriate for families with young children.

Big museums can overwhelm little visitors but Kingman Museum is just the right size for young elementary. Not completely hands-on but there's plenty to keep those little hands happy and minds in motion. The large polar bear & musk ox greets you, and always creates gasps. Kingman established in 1934 by Edward M. Brigham focuses on natural history, housing many... More

This museum is a fun way to spend a few hours- if you include the planetarium. It is an older museum, but my boys 8 and 12 enjoyed it.

I've been to several world-class museums, and this just isn't one of those, but if you're looking for an entertaining way to spend an hour or so, this is a decent way to do it. The staff is friendly, the space is easy to navigate and the information is presented in a way that is straightforward and easy to understand.... More

I grew up in this area so school trips were always happening to this museum. I love the planetarium shows, the large woolly mammoth, and all the other exhibits. It is located inside the Leila Arboretum which also has awesome grounds to explore. It is a great place for all ages.

Lovely way to spend an hour or so. Staff are really friendly. Some really interesting things to see. And some really odd exhibits (barbed wire through time )
