I've been to several rowing events in recent months, and rowed as an undergrad. While parking can be a little challenging, as a spectator, this is one of the better places to watch your favorite rower.

Came here on a late Sunday morning. Checked out the beach which was not crowded, lifeguards attentive. Roped off swimming area for little ones. Lots of shade and picnic tables. Very clean and well kept. A couple of new pagodas to rent out for special occasions. Great selection of boats to rent (rowboats, paddleboats, kayaks, sailboats). They offer monthly and... More

We took the dogs for a walk at the park. Nice trail, keep your eye out for some potholes, but overall a good surface. Stopped by the beach, a little small, but seemed clean enough.

Enjoyed a nice spring day here watching our son row. There were good viewing sites where you could sit right at rivers edge and watch. There is a sandy beach to sit on and a nice boathouse with clean restrooms. You can rent kayaks and take a ride or just relax and enjoy a peaceful day by the lake.

I go here frequently to use the 1.1 loop around the park for running / walking. A few hills. Even terrain. Aways full of families, kids on football field. Friendly folks. Safe, lots of parking, I have never been to the beach part of it, but there is water access. Picnic tables.

This is a pretty location along the lake. There are picnic tables and hibachi grills available. It was fairly trashy - some very unsavory things left on the ground. I would be careful with little ones here.

I feel safe walking in this park and the bathrooms are clean and open. They also have a beach for swimming and in another area you can rent a sail boat. There are showers and toilets.
