We recently took our kids and grandmothers dog for a walk while on vacation. It was a beautiful, quite and well kept. We are even considering camping there on our next visit.

Lake Dennison has always been a great place to go camping. You can bring either a tent or if you prefer a camper, that's okay too. There are showers and bathrooms to use by the campsites. Fishing and outdoor cooking are some things to do. There is also a lake to go swimming and there, during the day time, is... More

Great place for walking, biking, and kayaking. Roads are paved and limited car traffic. Beautiful scenery and vistas; pine trees and sandy beach to swim, picnic tables and grills for barbecues. Camping sites available. Also, found an old cemetery off road dating back to the Revolution. What a jewel!

We arrived early and set up came, our first spot was site 115 which has some tree roots and not alot of shade but it offered a great view of the lake. We were allowed to swap over to 116 which was nicer. Honestly in that area of 115 through 119 I believe it is ,there really isn't a bad spot.... More

Stayed two nights at Lake Dennison campground, will stay longer next time. Large campsites, quiet by day, at night you can really hear the Rt. 202 traffic, but overall very nice. Great for kayaking.

We chose Lake Dennison on a hot Sunday and we were happy with the clean beach and clear water. Our family enjoyed swimming and my 8yr old was also happy to fish there. There is shade available with picnic tables and grills for cooking nearby. There were bathrooms close by. Parking is $8 for the day or you can purchase... More

Stayed at campsite 63 which was large and clean, and included a metal grate fireplace. We were about a minute walk from the bathrooms, which had just been renovated. Lake has a beach, and there are areas to fish and launch canoes/kayaks. Only complaint is that the traffic noise from Rt. 202 is pretty loud. Otherwise it is a nice... More
