The big E is always a fun day just to walk around and enjoy the sights. I would suggest not going on the weekends because of the crowds. If you get to the state buildings right at 10 o'clock when they open you do not have to fight any crowds. There are so many places to grab a snack or... More
Wonderful fair lots of interesting food. Much to see I go about 3times during its run. Good for families. Once you pay entrance fee, which is cheap, $12.00 , all shows are free.

Took our annual trip to the Big E. Everything is overpriced but well worth the money in the long run. This year went with season pass (great value if your a local and going to visit multiple times) Our food highlights Kettle corn from New Hampshire Giant meatball from Frigos BIg E cream puff BIg E circus excellent as always
It was in the 80's when I was last there with my class and family. I love the fried dough the most and pizza that was there.
Over 1.3 million visitor's yearly for its 17 day run. Great crafts, animal shows, equestrian events, amusement park rides and midway plus outstanding food for everyone. Especially low the New England state houses where you can sample Vermont Cheddars, Massachusetts clam fritters, Maine baked potatoes, and various other treats and micro-brew beers. Lego land for the kids and all kinds... More
