This area is part of the Corps of Engineers flood control area on the Quinebaug River and they do a great job of maintenance. What my family enjoys most is age trails. There are basically two main one. They all are adjacent to the river or the lake formed by the dam. One trail called the "Grand Trunk" was a... More

The walking trails and peaceful atmosphere bring me back here over and over. I love it all times of the year. Spent quality time with my daughter and we both left there relaxed and refreshed.

Beautiful scenery and well marked paths in tranquil setting leave you in awe seeing God's majestic beauty. A great place for a prayer walk by yourself or just a friendly walk with family and friends. Plentiful areas for picnic, fun and frolic .

This is a pretty little gem bordering the towns of Sturbridge and Southbridge. There are entrances in both towns. There are three main paths to choose. There is the loop around the dam, a path to the right of the main parking lot that takes you to the kayak launch, and an upper path to the right of the main... More

I come here quite often with my dog to go for a nice walk. There's the main trail that goes around the dam but there's also side trails which are quieter and flat. It's very beautiful and worth the trip!

Nice facility with picnic facilities, benches, etc. Mostly I have gone there just to hike. It is very easy hiking with few hills of any size. There are options for continued hiking or biking down the rail trail that heads west. Great place for a relaxed day. I have been there numerous times!

We are senior walkers and love the fact that the hills are gradual and easy to handle. Its a very interesting scenic walk including signage that has information about the area. There are two different ways to get in and normally plenty of parking spaces at each. They have picnic area's for those who want to stay for a while... More

I wanted to take a break from being on vacation so I took out the map and found Westville. I really loved the water and the trails. I felt great about coming into the realm of nature in all its beauty. It was a nice place to get away for a few hours. I will be coming back again when... More
