Many folks have described Shelburne Farm as a great place for family fun... that's true, and Sue and I used to bring our kids and (later) grandchildren there... but now we find it's a wonderful place to go for a quiet weekday excursion... Today, Friday,...More

The orchard and farm are immense. It has goats, llamas, sheep, and a burro. Our two year old grandson enjoyed the combine harvester playground with slides, tractor trikes, hand pump rubber duck races, but not the bounce tent. We strolled the grounds and picked and...More

We have been coming to shelburne farm for at least 8 years with our boys. There is so much to do there, and they have since added a bit more for the children. Our boys are getting big now, but still enjoy going for our...More

Today I have to say was probably the best apple picking day ever! The macs were huge and delicious! After we were directed where to go, we found trees that everyone could reach easily! We quickly filled our 1/2 bushel bag with 23 pounds of...More

I stopped by to visit this place. Being from the south, I just wanted to see some apples trees in person. I have never experienced this before. I have to fly back home on multiple planes and would not be able to bring apples to...More

We had a fun time at Shelburne Farm in Stow Massachusetts. We were staying in Boston and it was not a long drive from our hotel. The best part was meeting up with my cousin who I had not seen in 40+ years, she was...More

There is another big spot down the road, but this place has it all: variety of apples, piping hot cider donuts, live music on the weekends in season, mini hay maze, bouncy house, a variety of kid play areas, and pumpkins! It gets a little...More

Lovely farm stand with very nice staff. We went to buy apples last week. They were DOUBLE the price of apples at Bolton Farms on Rt. 117. Do not buy your apples at Shelburne Farms.

Visited in September so a couple of weeks before peak crowds. Still was busy but no long lines. Several kid-focused activities; wish they had adult-sized pedal tractors. Did not get the hoped for cider donuts but that was my choice to skip 10-15 minute wait....More

Love Shelburne! It's a great spot for apple picking, cider doughnuts and fun with the kiddos. In the fall they typically have a fire pit going and the smell of the burning wood while sipping apple cider is the best.
