We love to ride the Polpis Bike trail for close up views or the Milestone Road Bike trail for distant views. Just do not feel like we've seen all of Nantucket until we have viewed this beautiful working light house on the cliffs of Siasconset!

Need a rental car, seemed pretty far for a bike trip but the island has several very long bike trails. Even a week past daffodil weekend, the daffodils are everywhere!

The lighthouse has gorgeous views all around. The ocean is kind of blocked by a fence, but the huge field and homes near it make it picturesque.

The Sankaty Head Lighthouse has been moved back from its original location due to erosion along the waters edge. It's a great example of mother natures power. It's a great short, flat walk out to the lighthouse. Take your time. Enjoy the sunrise with a...More

This is a great take if you like lighthouses, are intrigued by the Nantucket challenges with erosion, love the coast, etc. It's a grand ol' light. The venue is stunning, breathtaking, but a very basic place... No guided tours, etc. but what a view and...More

This lighthouse is majestic and beautiful. It's light can be seen for miles. We have the opportunity to see it with a beautiful rainbow in the background.
