Sharon has three great places to hike - Moose Hill Audubon Sanctuary, Borderlands, and Moose Hill Farm, which is a property of the Trustees of the Reservations. It is the former Kendall Farm, so it is mostly flat. The farmland is now a meadow and there are woods beyond. It is a very pleasant place to hike, but not challenging.

Recently made our first visit to this beautiful place. Even in January, there were a lot of other people, but it never felt crowded. There's an inviting visitors' center where we were pleasantly surprised to find an art show. Lots of trails for hikers at every level, and though we took a shorter one on this visit, we'll be back... I went to the Wildlife Sanctuary, next to Moose Hill farm. There are 25 miles of trails through the forest, fields, and wetlands. At the visitor center we paid a $4 entrance fee, there's a tiny gift shop inside, clean restrooms, plenty of free parking, and popular place with the Boy & Girl Scouts. We got lost even though a... Hubby & I love exploring around Moose Hill Reservation! Who knew there are awesome trails beyond the Blue Hills with amazing overlooks. The trails wind up and around the hills of Sharon and bordering Walpole. Definitely take a trail map along so you can meander through several Audubon sites. The Farm looks like one out of Vermont, very rustic and... More

Moose Hill is a standout Audubon Santuary. It's not large but has several nice hiking trails and a visitors center with art. Lots of kid programs.

this place is a treasure for the town of Sharon. Immagine less than 1 mile away world class hiking that is kept in its natural state. They also run a summer camp and produce a halloween spectacle

Hiking there makes you feel as if there is no town around. Simple well maintained trails, beautiful view from the top. Easy to park and just get away for a bit.

Love the variety of trails. My friends and I always have a good time walking around. Not all of the trails are marked clearly.

I went on a hike in the trails in Moose Hill, adjacent to the farm. I did a loop hike up to the bluff overlook and down some other trails including the Turkey trail and the Moose Hill trail. The way up to the bluff overlook was a wide dirt trail and was well maintained. The vegetation was lush, serene... More

Moose Hill is very well kept up and the hiking trails are a lot of fun. They are good for all ages and you can choose from many different routes to make your visit more exciting. The main house is very pretty and has a nice little gift shop inside. It's worth visiting on a beautiful day.
