This beach has it all! Beautiful sky lines, soft sandy beach, fires and grilling allowed with permits as well as driving out onto the beach to pick your perfect spot... sticker needed! It's the best all day at the beach and into the night stargazing beach in town!

I brought along my rain boots and, because it was October, I didn't pay at the gate. Even though I was absolutely soaked through, it was wonderful to walk along the beach, collecting smooth stones. Good surf, peaceful place.

Also referred to as Town Neck Beach, this area is absolutely gorgeous! The Boardwalk leads to this beach at a few entry points, which makes for easy access. This beach is absolutely gorgeous! This is a great spot to picnic, go for a walk, play with your dogs (off season)...and it's very close to some great places to eat! Word... More

I love this beach, even though they have some rocks, it is so peaceful, and of course if you love to walk the beach looking for treasures, you are sure to find some.

The day we were here the surf was rough and dangerous. The beach is rocky and not very nice to walk on. It was also very windy. It was not crowded. You can hike the sand dunes. Apparently about four miles up is a light house if you can walk that far through sand dunes. The fee is $20 per... More

The prettiest beach I have seen in the USA! Yes it rocky but so what, come prepared and you will be fine. Gorgeous setting with soft sand, tons of crabs and fairly warm water. The best part is that you will have a ton of space to play bc it isn't crawling with people. Be sure to stop by the... More

The name is a little misleading. Yes the dunes are super soft sand but as you get into the actual beach by the water it's all rocks. Waves were medium to small, but the water was colder compared to south beaches. Looked like people can camp on the beach with RVs so that might be interesting for some visitors. Facilities... More

This beach is very low key and not crowded at all. That could be due to the fact that it is REALLY rocky. If that doesn't bother you then it's wonderful for a relaxed beach visit. Two of the days we were there it was half sand half rocks, the other day the tide brought in a ton of rocks... More

They have a huge parking area and a wonderful restaurant. The bathroom, changing rooms and showers are great!! The only problem, there is not a lot of sand! Bring water shoes and you will be all set. Guests with RV's park right on the beach on the far side of the parking area. It is on the bay side of... More

The location was not very crowded, nice stretch of beach to walk. Limited food/drink so bring a picnic lunch.
