Every morning when we woke up we looked out at the Twin Lights on Thatcher's Island. We stayed at the Cape Ann Motor Inn and the view was great.

A great way to spend a few hours while in Rockport. Beautiful island and awesome experience climbing the lighthouse to catch the break taking view. Definitely worth the lovely boat ride. If you're lucky you'll get to see some seals on your way over!

These lights were visible from some of the rooms at the B and B in which we stayed. A beautiful calmness surrounds their placement. While not Northern Ireland, they evoked memories of the light on the Mull of Kintyre (spelling?) off the coast of Islandmagee.

See them all, they are all beautiful and the history behind each one is very interesting. Enjoy it from the water or from the port.

I am not sure of the landing arrangements for the island. I do know there is a landing fee. Please contact Thacher Island Association directly through their website for current information. Enjoy!
