Several miles to walk around point, over causeway or take the Long Point shuttle to cut off lots of time. $10-$15- watch the tides if you take the causeway, high tide washes over in two locations and you could be in trouble. Great walk if...More

I knew to plan a hike at low tide but I did not anticipate construction at the west end of Bradfort St., and no parking to be found. It is a lovely spot and would have been quite an excursion but we could find nowhere...More

Well, we walked through the breakwater with our 7 yr old which was quite a walk (more than 1 hour) to the light house. You can get a wrecked ship on the way for some good clicks. Half of the walk is on rocks &...More

There are many lighthouses in the area but this one grabbed my attention. Basic. A lot like what you thought lighthouses looked like when I was a child. Good take in.

All of my dreams for this hike came true today. I would say, from the beginning and around the loop, it was about 5.3 miles. The temp was in the 60’s but was sunny and perfect! We not only saw seals, poking their heads out...More

The MOST beautiful place to watch the sunset! Especially in winter months! The walk over was long but it was well worth it!

Perfect beach to get away from the summer crowd, very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful scenery, it feel like you are in the middle of the ocean!

Went here for the first time in January during winter. We got there at sunset and didn't have enough time to walk across to the light house. It has a long jetty to walk across to get to it. It was cold and windy but...More

It's not the fast ferry that folks think of (that runs to Boston) but instead a private vessel. Cost is $15 pp round trip, departure place is MacMillan Wharf, and it leaves hourly from 10-5. Daily beach gear (coolers... More
