It was a long and boring drive to get to Provincetown but well worth it. We walked up and down the main street looking in on quirky shops and popped in and out of bars and cafes as we went. Lovely mix of people in the area. The kind of place you'd be curious to see a local market at.... More

Lots of restaurants, shops, cute artistic things to buy and lots of t-shirts! The streets are crowded but that is part of the fun. Park away from the main area for sure!

This street is crowded with shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Makes for a fun day between beach visits and other sightseeing.

Restaurants, shops, bikes, boats, beach, theater, library and history. Walk or bike, but walking is the most convenient

Commercial street is where just about all the action is. It is a very narrow quaint street where you have your pick of things to do. Most of the best restaurants can be found here, as well as ice cream shops, art galleries, bars, gay clubs, and shops. The shops have just about everything, but as with any typical tourist... More

We really liked it - especially how you could walk or bike through - they really should shut out the cars though during busy season and figure out how to best deal with this issue - there isn't enough space for cars people and bikes. That said there is lots to see and do in this little strip. Be advised,... More

Shops, food, drink and a wonderful diversity of people make this place great. Local artists, tourist shops, ice cream, seafood - fast food, fancy dinning, happy hour specials and "shows" offer something for everyone. Crowded in season, but lots of fun!

From when I visited Provincetown in the past to now, they have done a great job to make it cleaner and more family friendly! People there were so friendly. So daytime is great for families. We did not stay for the eve but I imagine it would be a more adult atmosphere!

Thank Debbie K
