Wonderful beach to spend the day, facing the Atlantic and the tip of Cape Cod, clean, not overly crowded, nice sand, clean water and ample parking. Minimal rocks and debris, minor shells, keep an eye out you'll see a passing seal or two. We caught...More

Beautiful beach is a great spot to watch the sunset over the water (only a few places on east coast where this is possible). Easy parking. Gave it one less star, because with cold water temperature, I wouldn't go during the day to swim. Go...More

The water is so clean and warm. The waves were calm for small children and when it hit high tide we could do some boogie boarding. The facilities were beautifully clean and the concession stand had wonderful options. Also want to give a shout out...More

Always enjoy my trips there! The beaches are clean and the Dunes are beautiful. Our group spends hours per day on the beach every year.

Nice, clean, modern updated beach area. With wind blowing across the bay, waves were a blast. Chilly water but mix of the shallow bay kept it warm enough for a hot day. Open stretches of sand. Great access via shuttle bus, car ($20 for parking)...More

Herring Cove is the best spot on the cape to view the sunset. This west facing beach is the perfect place to spread your blanket and watch the sun sink into the ocean. Parking is free after 7:00

The good things about this beach: restrooms were clean and updated; food stand was excellent, lifeguards were nice. The negative - there was apparently some storm damage with asphalt that is chewed up. Hunks of it are on the beach and it is finding its...More

We have now been to Race Point, Herring Cove, and on PTown Harbor. This is easily the best beach. While we did not see any wildlife, there are signs all over talking about frequent whale sightings. There was a dangerous marine life flag up, and...More

I went in August - there were loads of dogs o the beach - just make sure to clean up after them and you should be fine. I would recommend a leash just in case too as there are a lot of people and other dogs.
