Over Memorial Day weekend, we camped at Myles Standish. We were in the Charged Pond area, in loop F. The campground doesn't have hook ups, but there is a dump station with water and water available around the loops. The lower part of the camp...More

My husband and I decided to take our dogs on a long walk in this state park, and it was a blast! There are many different trails to explore, varying in length from one or two miles to seven or more. The trails are well-marked...More

We've been camping at this place for 7 years straight and I just finished reserving another spot for this summer. We bring our kids and they run wild. This was literally the first place where I saw my then 6 year old son and his...More

Spent a couple of days here with my partner. The ride to the state park was beautiful especially during the sunset. You must take a dip in the lake - it's super clear and the sand pure and white! It's unfortunate that the previous campers...More

Myles Standish State Forest is a great place to camp. There are a few different "ponds" which I feel are more like lakes. My family favorite is Curlew Pond.

We went camping to enjoy time away from the city. Instead, we heard the loud music and children screaming well after midnight and before 8 am. The site was next to the road so we heard traffic noise at all hours. The restroom facilities were...More

We went tent camping and had a good experience on Reserve America, even pre-registered on-line, so I thought we were all set. Myles Standish State Forest is very big. We went to our campsite, listed as, we thought "1027". There was no sign to first...More

Although I love the natural beauty of Myles Standish, the campground itself is a mess. We camped one night, in a tent, July 16th at Charge pond loop F. To be honest they were having a centennial celebration that day, so maybe there were more...More

I'm not sure. Some spots may be able to. We have a small 20 travel trailer and always tried to be in the same area of Curlew Pond. There are other ponds through the park. Best bet is to contact the park rangers.
