Well maintained and well marked Reservation. I visited a couple of cellar holes and ran in the Slab City tract/Harvard forest. Plenty of trails/dirt roads to run on or hike and a lot of history (old cellar holes and former fields).

This place was named katydid because of the grasshoppers would sing we would pick blueberries and lay in the field and listen to them sing kadydid kadydid over and over also the river drifted right there and we would swim and the water was so clear you could see the rainbow trout swimming about it is a magical place it... More
