My family and I had a ball taking Jonathan's Nauset Marsh high tide tour in August 2016. Our 8 year old happily paddled in a tandem with me. None of us were experienced kayakers. Highlights were the dozens of curious seals who watched us paddle by, and the huge flocks of birds taking off and landing on nearby sand bars.... More

Cape Kayaking gave us the best time of our week long vacation on the Cape and something different than the usual day at the beaches. Although we had all been kayaking before, we were no experts and the idea of doing the Nauset Marsh was a little scary. John, our guide, made everyone feel comfortable with his tips on kayaking... I had a great experience kayaking the Nauset Marsh at low tide. Our guide was well-informed and shared with us some very interesting information about the area. We saw amazing wildlife, including over 30 seals only a few meters away from our kayaks. I would definitely sign up for another tour with Jonathan when I visit the Cape again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Nauset Marsh Low Tide paddle with Jonathon. He patiently and expertly gave instruction then guided us through our tour. I'd recommend this to ANYONE, regardless of kayak experience! Jonathon shared his knowledge of the history, geography, wildlife all while gently instructing those new to paddling. Don't miss out, this is an awesome experience!

The High Tide March Tour was great! Meandering through the marsh, being in the midst of seals, strolling the beach, traversing the outgoing current--who could ask for more? But there was much more! Jonathan's explanations of the environment, local history, and changing conditions were fantastic. He also provided excellent instruction on kayaking skills. A very enjoyable experience that I recommend... More

Jonathan was the best! After providing some basic paddling tips, he navigated our family of 6 (ranging from 20 - 75 yrs old) through the low tide marshes, captivating our crew with stories of how they formed, who lived among them and what lives within them. Our hands-on sandbar stop yielded several types of clams which JR enthusiastically shucked and... More
