Skaket Beach is known for the ritual of watching the sun go down. Not every sunset is great, but some are absolutely stunning. As a beach, it is just OK. Kids and dogs seem to like it because it is easy and gentle and stays...More

Try not to forget to bring your camera or phone. Enjoy the wonderful sunsets over Cape Cod Bay. A few clouds mixed in, the better and more splendid.

We were hoping for a glorious sunser, but a large cloud arrived blocking the sun. This photo shows an amazing shot of the hidden sun.

Only went to see the sunset and we weren't disappointed. It's clearly a bit of an event given the number of folks who pitched up and brought along picnics or wine and cheese. Quite tickled by the applause as the sun finally sank below the...More

Perfect family beach with calm warm waters and plenty of scenery-you see the whole inner cape on a clear day. Great for sunsets and free after 4:30 or $ 20 to park.

This beach has always been a favorite. This time we came as a couple, but it is a wonderful beach for families. At low tide you can walk out for a mile. Great for searching tidal pools and making sand castles. Fun to check out...More

Yes they are. However, you must make sure it is anchored. The winds are very strong at times and I have witnessed a heavy metal canopy roll away in the wind because the owner only buried the legs in the sand. The people who... More
