Great beginner ski Hill.

Best place to learn to ski. Great ski school and it's a small Hill for beginners to novice skiers. Tubing, terrain Park, cross country skiing, skating, etc.

Small hill that is great for beginners who are able to learn the basics before moving onto bigger hills. Decent sized terrain park for those interested, but a pretty quick trip down the hill. Food and dining options are also very average.

My 5 and 6 year old kids take ski lessons here...and I'm very glad they do. Mount Pakenham is perfect for beginner. It's not too big and there are no major hurdles for those that are learning. The lodge is new and the canteen serves great stuff. The hot chocolate is above par and they always have an outside BBQ... More

This is a nice little mountain, a recently renovated chalet. Fairly close to Ottawa. We went with our 2 and 5yo to introduce them to skiing, and might look else where next time. Getting to the lift from the car park is a long walk, the car park is chopped in to sections and quite far from the chalet, they... More

Small mountain with a big heart. Friendly staff ensure comfort and safety. Lounge has nice fireside with couches, books and board games.

This is a small family ski hill (300 ft) but the runs are usually in great shape. The groomers are very good at compensating when Mother Nature doesn't provide a lot of snow. The lodge has improved over the years and even features a bar area with a gas fireplace. The ski and snowboard school is excellent and they also... More

Very short slopes, good only for the new skiers to learn. The cabin is smelly to stay in. They have done some renovation but beside moving the shelf from corridor inside the waiting rooms nothing changed too much. The smell still stays and the food is still overpriced. Restrooms are OK I still recommend it for the new learners.

My four year old and myself took ski lessons at pakenham this winter. The hill is perfect for new skiers! My son had great instructors and excelled in his class! I didn't have as much luck w my class. My class was slowed down by two skiers who should have been put into private lessons after week one... But weren't... More

After learning to ski at Mount Pakenham, with his school - our sone was super keen about taking up skiing. We have since gone twice to Pakenham as a family and everyone is hooked. Its great to have a sport that the whole family loves. I wish it was cheaper, but less expensive than hockey and much better than sitting... More

This is a great learner hill. It has lots of different hills to start on and its not intimidating. This is a small hill though for a seasoned skier. It has night skiing and that's great! Its a really night after work thing if you live close, and a really good hill for you to take a young family or... More
