This is in a charming setting, and it is a rather "eclectic" used book store. Having said that, if you are looking for something in particular, you'd be better off going on the internet and ordering from Powell's or Abebooks or someplace else that sells...More

I've seen much better used bookstores in the area. The spot is obviously the main draw here. Also, the prices are pretty good, and the fiction and young adult sections are quite extensive. If you're looking for anything else, you probably won't find it.

This is one of my favorite places in the world to go to! I used to love going to this place during gradschool to look for cheap books, get lost in the nook and crannys of the bookstore, and gaze upon the water if I...More

Wish we'd had more time to browse! Wonderful jumble of books in all categories. Would need at least a day to peruse this collection of ne and old favorites and treasures to be discovered.

Eclectic, funky conversion of a riverside mill. A must see if you are in the area. Worth a detour as well.

A classic place. Good variety of books, fun cafe adjacent, fine restaurant downstairs and a nice mix of people. Great in all seasons.

We stopped here because the pictures online drew us in. It was a neat place to visit, they have a broad selection of books for niche categories like art history, WWII, poetry, etc. We were hoping for more current books as well but that did...More

Something for everybody in this quaint, attractive, serene, comfortable place. Spend an hour to a day here. Hubby can drink beer and nap while spouse browses books, art, music - or vice versa. Going back soon.
