We went to this bookstore with my teenage daughter, who loves books. She loved the bookstore. I liked the quaint atmosphere, the creaky wood floors, and the old typewriters displayed. It's also right along a river, which makes for a really peaceful place to read....More

Tons of books, all kinds of reading chairs and nooks to explore, with the sound of water in the background. There are several other small stores next to it as well.

Stunning setting, but not very many books, and what was there was fairly low quality - old and not terribly interesting. We were disappointed as we were looking forward to spending a few hours here delving in amongst the shelves for treasures, but it was...More

We've love the Bookmill for over 20 yrs. Always new books to check out. In the summer there's a breeze of the cascade. In the winter, it's a community hotspot and escape from cain fever!

This place!!!! Oh goodness! Books of all kinds everywhere. Amazingly clean and tidy for so many used books. Relaxing atmosphere, places to sit and read and listen to the waterfall outside, and people who work there who know where everything is! Will definitely go back...More

I love the vibe of this whole Montague Mill complex....the Lady Killigrew cafe, the Alvah Stone Restaurant, and the Bookmill. It's so rare to still find a bookstore these days, but to find one of this caliber that also sells the most intersting cards and...More

This is in a charming setting, and it is a rather "eclectic" used book store. Having said that, if you are looking for something in particular, you'd be better off going on the internet and ordering from Powell's or Abebooks or someplace else that sells...More
